MRI RF Coil PCB — The High Frequency Requirement
MRI RF coil PCB operates at Larmor frequency — 64MHz for 1.5T systems, 128MHz for 3T, and 298MHz for 7T ultra-high field. At these frequencies, substrate loss directly affects coil Q-factor and signal-to-noise ratio. Rogers RO4350B (Df 0.0037) and RO3003 (Df 0.0010) are both used depending on field strength and coil geometry. Riching PCB stocks both grades — no procurement delay for prototype iterations.
