Why RT5880 Is the EW Standard

Electronic warfare systems operate across very wide bandwidths — often 2–18 GHz or wider in a single design. RT5880 (Dk 2.20, Df 0.0009) has the lowest dissipation factor of any standard Rogers PTFE grade, minimizing insertion loss variation across a wide frequency range. The low and stable Dk also simplifies broadband matching network design — critical when the same circuit must perform across multiple octaves.
