Why High Frequency PCB Turnkey Is Different
Most turnkey PCB factories in China handle FR4 well — but Rogers and PTFE materials require process knowledge that generic PCBA factories often don’t have. The two most common failures are: using a standard SAC305 reflow profile on PTFE substrates (which causes dimensional shifts at peak temperatures above 260°C), and outsourcing PTFE fabrication to a third party where plasma activation timing cannot be controlled. Riching PCB fabricates and assembles in the same facility — material knowledge from the PCB process is applied directly to the SMT process.
