What Is High Frequency PCB
High frequency PCB refers to circuit boards built on substrates with stable, low-loss dielectric properties at RF and microwave frequencies — typically above 500MHz. Standard FR4 (Dk 4.3–4.6, Df ~0.02) has high and variable loss at these frequencies. High frequency laminates such as Rogers, Taconic and F4B maintain stable Dk and low Df (as low as 0.0009 for Rogers RT5880) across a wide frequency range.
